B1/e-VOA is for short visits; it starts at 30 days and can usually be extended once to 60 days. Longer stays need a suitable route such as C2, investor stay permit, work route or E33G.
C2 is for business meetings, purchasing, negotiation and site checks; it does not grant local employment rights.
The official E33G description says no sponsor is required, but it has special documents such as foreign employment contract and income evidence.
